The official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Russian rouble are
set by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for use in calculating
revenues and expenditures of the state budget, for all kinds of payment and
settlement relations of the government with enterprises, organizations and
individuals as well as for taxation and accounting purposes. The official
exchange rates for each currency are applicable till the next official rate of
the currency takes effect, if otherwise is not stated by the Bank of Russia.
