Results of monitoring of maximum interest rates of credit institutions

1 When determining the maximum interest rate for each credit organization:

– maximum rates on deposits available to any customer (including potential customers) without restrictions and preconditions are taken into account. Deposits for selected categories of clients (pensioners, children) and purposes (for social and humanitarian purposes and etc.) are not considered;

– no rates with capitalization of interest on the deposit shall be taken into account;

– rates valid under certain conditions (regular bank card turnover, permanent minimum balance on the bank card, etc.) are not taken into account;

– combined deposit products, i.e. deposits with additional conditions are not considered. Such additional conditions for accrual of the increased interest rate may include, for example, purchase of investment units for a certain amount, opening of an investment account, registration of an investment or accumulative life insurance program, connection of an additional package of services, etc.

– deposits whose term is divided into periods with different rates are not considered.
